After doing research and talking to shops that use these types of machines....
As we all know, finding good help is getting harder and harder everyday.
This machine is a game changer! One set up machine. One operator or we or even better yet, we replace the operator with a robot!

We have to do this now, we are already behind. One spindle machines are outdated and will cost you more money in the long run.

I can get my hands on 3 machines like this from the machine tool companies Will wants. I might have more options later this year if you want to take that chance.

2012 Doosan Puma MX2600ST CNC High Performance Turning Center with special factory options 

This machine was installed new in 2015 and has run limited production on one very tight tolerance                                                                                                                                                         shaft for areospace which includes a cnc automatic steady rest installed. This machine has scales on all axis's to produce an axle shaft.
